Template for a Comprehensive Emergency Plan

This template is provided for our Oregon FCC providers but could be used in any state to draft your own Comprehensive Emergency Plan. Remember the following before charging the new increased rates:

    1. Your advertised rates (the ones in your policies, on your website, the ones you charge private pay clients) must be equal to or greater than the new rates. You MIGHT need to increase your rates for the first of the year.

    2. The rates are set as a percentage of the Market Price Study -- if providers feel that the new rates are too low and do NOT represent the current prices in the area, EVERY provider MUST report their current rates (or what their new rates on January 1 are) to CCRR and MAKE SURE that those rates are accurately reported. We have heard reports from providers in certain areas of the state that some areas do NOT collect rates and that CCRR MAY be reporting in error (keeping the rates lower in parts of zones B and C.

    3. Make sure you list the new rates on billing forms starting January 1 although as always, report the rates you charge on the billing form for the monthly payment -- DO NOT "just" put down the DHS rate. If your rate is HIGHER than the DHS rate (current or January 1) put down your ACTUAL rate!
